Gamekeeper Wine/Beer Tasting & Auction

BRC_Auction_2014_47In 2014, more than 220 supporters of land protection gathered at historic Camp Sky Ranch to enjoy great food and wine and to bid on unique and locally-produced merchandise and services.  We set records this year for fundraising and attendance.  Thank you to everyone who made this night possible!

Thank you to Ken and Wendy Gordon of the Gamekeeper Restaurant and Bar of Boone and Blowing Rock for providing an outstanding selection of food donated by New River Organic Growers, Ripship Farms, and other local farms.  Desert was provided by Abby Willis of Stick Boy Bread Co. Yum!!

Jack Sharp Jr. and his family generously donated a wonderful venue for the event. Camp Sky Ranch has a rich history and a great future. Thanks to Jack and his family for supporting BRC. If you haven’t been there, visit the camp and learn what this great local resource has to offer.

As in years past, Elizabeth Hempfling of Events by Elizabeth Ashley and her team donated their expertise in event planning, and Rob Peters and Andi Gelsthorpe of Miss Match donated unique and elegant table settings. Lynn Willis of Lynn Willis Photography lent his talents providing beautiful photos of the setting, our guests and a great evening of fun in support of local land protection.  A special thanks goes out to Susan Wright and Brent Cochran of Shady Grove Gardens and Nursery for donating the elegant floral arrangements and local musical favorites, Mountain Radio, for providing the music.

And thank you to the incredible breweries and wineries that poured throughout the evening including; Appalachian Mountain Brewery, Blind Squirrel Brewery, Boondocks Brewing, Blowing Rock Brewing, and Associated Beverage.
