Blue Ridge Conservancy Conservation Campus
In July 2021, Blue Ridge Conservancy moved to a new, permanent home on Aho Rd in Blowing Rock. The 46-acre property was generously donated by Audrey Bentley as part of her estate, and thanks to another donor, BRC was able to remodel the existing home structure and add a 2.2-mile hiking trail, which is open to the public. Future plans include an environmental education/meeting center, a picnic area, a pollinator meadow trail, and a spur trail to the Middle Fork Greenway.
The public is welcome to use the hiking trail, please note that there are no bathroom facilities, and the path is for foot traffic only. The parking area for trail access is the flat gravel lot, not the paved driveway for the office.
