Ribbon Cutting & Earth Third Friday Block Party at Rivers House Park

  • Blue Ridge Conservancy 416 Aho Road Blowing Rock, NC, 28605 United States (map)

Blue Ridge Conservancy and the Town of Boone are cutting the ribbon to officially open the Rivers House Park Trails ! This exciting project has been a wonderful partnership and, once designated, will be home to the southern terminus of the Northern Peaks State Trail.

The trails at Rivers House Park were funded by a Recreational Trails Program Grant, with the local match provided by the Town of Boone, the Downtown Boone Development Association, and Blue Ridge Conservancy. The Town of Boone is also constructing a new parking area and accessible restrooms for the park — the latter funded by the North Carolina Parks and Recreation Trust Fund.
